Madagascar
Madagascar is an island country lying approximately 400 km east of Mozambique, off the southeastern coast of Africa. Lush rainforests, dry deserts, and grassy plains cover the island, with coral reef and mangrove forests stretching along its coastlines. Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world and you won’t find the usual African wildlife like lion, giraffe or hippo here instead, you will find colourful chameleons and many different species of lemurs.
Besides lemurs, Madagascar is famous for its huge baobab trees. Know wonder it is the national tree of Madagascar.
