KENYA | TANZANIA – JUL – JUL 2024 – This 11-day escorted journey to experience the Great Wildebeest Migration of Eastern Africa begins in Nairobi, Kenya. We travel through Lake Nakuru NP and Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya before flying to Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater and finishing in Arusha the ‘safari capital’ of the world.

ITinERARY
Day 1 NAIROBI (B)
Welcome to Kenya! On arrival at Nairobi Airport you will be met and transferred to Sarova Panafric Hotel. Meet and greet our group.
Overnight: Sarova Panafric Hotel


Day 2 LAKE NAKURU GAME RESERVE (B,L,D)
This morning after breakfast you are picked up from the hotel and driven to Lake Nakuru National Park followed by an afternoon game drive.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge


Day 3 – 5 MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (B,L,D)
Monday morning after breakfast you will drive to the Masai Mara followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive.
Tuesday and Wednesday enjoy morning and afternoon game drives.
Hot air ballooning followed by a once-in-a-lifetime champagne breakfast is on offer here for a more extravagant experience in the savannah (optional own expense activity).

Day 6 – 7 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (B,L,D)
Thursday morning after breakfast you will depart with packed lunches and fly from Ol Kiombo Airstrip to Serengeti at 0800hr. On arrival, you will be met and enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge.
Friday enjoy breakfast and a full day of game drives in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 8 – 9 NGORONGORO (B,L,D)
Saturday breakfast drive to the Karatu area for your stay at the Ngorongoro Farmhouse, with packed lunches. Arrive in the late afternoon with the rest of the day at leisure.
Sunday enjoy breakfast before descending over 600m down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Covering over 250 sq km of land, the Ngorongoro Crater is home to the rare black rhino, lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope, and wildebeest, and is one of Africa’s most unbelievable landscapes. Explore the forest and lake areas where you may see flamingos and open savannah. A picnic lunch will be served in the crater, before driving back late afternoon to Ngorongoro Farmhouse for dinner and overnight

Day 10 ARUSHA (B,L)
This morning after breakfast you will drive to Arusha for lunch and the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Overnight: The African Tulip




Day 11 ARUSHA (B)
This morning after breakfast you will be met and transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
